Seaside, Oregon

After the family reunion and Portland we headed over to Seaside, Oregon. The day we got there it was perfectly sunny and 95 degrees right on the beach. For those of you who are familiar with the Oregon coast you know how rare that it is. We literally had a 1 in 100 hundred chance of going to the Oregon coast and having sunny skies and ninety degree weather. It was amazing! We swam in the ocean all afternoon and built sand castles, then as the sun was setting we played Frisbee and watched the sun set! It was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. And if you look closely in the picture you can see the fog rolling in. The fog was so cool within in hours after the sun set every thing was covered in fog.

The kids loved riding the Carousel. And it seemed so fitting to ride it right there by the beach. Everywhere else Carousel's just seem out of place or trashy to me!?!
