Parker's school held a Walk-A-Thon this last week. Parker was asked to get pledges per lap he would walk. Each lap was 1/4 of a mile. I naively thought maybe Parker would do 6 laps or 1 mile and a half. So I pledged my $1.00 per lap up to 6 laps. I told Parker that if he could do more then 6 laps I would pay that amount also up to a $1.00 a lap. And his grandparents did also(Thanks Guys)! Parker
SURPRISED us all and did 19 laps or 4 miles and 3/4!! What a STUD! He is so excited to take his almost $60.00 back to the school. I loved this idea!! The kids get to learn about fitness while also donating 100% of the profit right back to their own school!! Hopefully they will be able to get some fun new things at the school for the kids next year!!!

I wish our school would of done something like that. Maybe I will suggest it.
