After our big hike yesterday we decided to go home and have a water fight(Parkers idea) and go down the slip and slide. We did NOT intend on turning the whole side of my parents yard into a big slip and slide, but that is exactly what happened. This was a blast!! And we are allready thinking up new ways to improve and lengthen our 4th of July slip and slide extravaganza for next year. This will be something we do every year from here on out, and I encourage all of you to try it also!!!!
The setup took a little while but was well worth the wait!

Dave and Pete started doing stunt slides which were hilarious. I stuck to the tummy slide and Sharee did some really nice knee slides so that she would not injure "Nya" (their baby) in utero.

I remember Keith and I taping garbage bags together and nailing them into the lawn - or rather the drop-off at our house - fourtunately, the bags ripped out, or else we would have seriously hurt ouselves! I love the tarp idea...Looks like you guys had a blast!!!
